@liammartens @WerewolfCustoms i have heard about docker, but is it easy to run (on windows). Have only heard good things about it, but haven't had the time to look into it yet.
Have used vagrant before and was thinking using that, but wanted to hear what other developers use π -
@SpeedyCate when I tried using Docker on Windows I did have some known issue with the network bridge π€at the time there were no workarounds though I believe there is one now. (runs best on a unix based system though and I tried installing it under bash for Windows but that wasn't successfull)

@liammartens Hrm okay. I'll look at it and hope it'll work on windows. Unfortunately I can't install ubuntu on my work computer :/

@WerewolfCustoms it has issues with those bluetooth/wifi combo cards I do believe. At least back when I tried it on Windows

Trying to set up docker but can't figure out how to get an apache2 up and running with an open port. Thought it would be easy π

Wack61918yI personally use Vagrant for it. Sure it's an overkill compared to docker, but still, it's nice. (For the lazy ones: https://puphpet.com)

olback107948yI use a Ubuntu server in my basement. Works great. When I'm happy with whatever I've made i publish it to my DO Droplet.
