I learned basic logic and programming with Scratch about 3 years ago.
And I made more than a cat walking around.

@linuxer4fun lovely, but people differ greatly. Me, I started with Turbo Pascal 5.5 and it was complex enough back then when I was 7

That escalated quickly… but I had to use the bottom two in my "computer apps" class, but when the teacher wasn't looking I switched to the first one 🙃

@linuxer4fun Scratch teaches logic. Just its design teaches that code is executed statement by statement because the whole thing is a flow chart. Remember, its for kids, and they think programming is all black magic. You can make some neat stuff with it, too, if you're clever enough. Someone made a 3D multiplayer shooter game, and it actually ran okay! I love scratch and occasionally even use it as a game-like entertainment source.
