mohsin02263y@C0D4 ok, I used to criticize government policies on facebook, now I live in a country which ranks quite low on press freedom index, anyone who criticizes the government is targeted and harassed. So did happen to me.
I was abducted and then framed with false charges which states that I joined a group of protesters and committed arson, vandalized properties etc. These are completely fake and now I have all those charges exempted somehow. But still I am worried.
here means in a local company -
@mohsin022 For remote jobs, probably not. Unless they ask for a criminal record/certificate of conduct document.

C0D4669023y@mohsin022 background checks may show it, depends on country you apply to for remote work and their laws.
If you were exempt, is it still on your criminal history?
Can you do your own background check / criminal history check in your country to find out? -
Idk for sure, but any radical or even strong political/religious beliefs proactively expressed in public don't look well on [almost] any company. Being charged for it makes it even worse.
If you're planning to work as a contractor, it may be easier for you. But FTE... I imagine getting an FTE position, esp in a popular company or a company with high standards would be difficult in your case. -
@mohsin022 i m sure you are from india. Press freedom ranking is given by western countries whose press itself is not free from pushing their government , pseudo liberal or the great American and the western narrative. You might have been under the local intelligence radar because of your religion and the type of criticism or narrative you pushed on the social media. I m sure your criticism wouldn't be for the inclusive growth of the nation. And you now how voilence from a particular religion keep erupting in India and how they use social media to gather large masses. Obviously the people, government , local police and the intelligence is afraid of social media criticizers like you.

mohsin02263y@netikras it's neither strong religious nor political views dude, I criticised about a corruption scam where politicians from the ruling party were involved and that's the reason I was arrested.
