Ah, but i love it. Its my go to browser. I think the same about firefox and chrome. Vivaldi is coming on although it has its problems. Each to his/her own.

itch9623948yWhats your problem with safari? Its my primary browser and i see no problems with it except for some glitches while using the Progressive Web Apps.

I like chrome because it's the least annoying out of all browsers, I could try going to another but I will revert back to Google.

@itch96 every bug that happened to my web projects recently only occur on Safari. Every single one of them. This experience reminds me of the days when I need to support IE 8. It's even more troublesome because I can't install Safari on my Linux laptop and I don't use iPhone, so I need to borrow my friend's Macbook to inspect the bug.

cjbatz13585y@kudamalam Same issue right now, seriously tempted to ban Safai users from my web app

It's a scandal that Apple pushes its terrible browser to users, especially on iOS. And if you say the truth about this piece of crap, then you have 10 fanboys over you.
It is terrible because:
- They don't follow the w3c spec but make their own annoying rules, which makes developers life a living hell
- It's just basic, and get kept basic because Apple has monetary benefit with keeping it basic. So people keep using apps (what is it, 2007?).
- They ban other browsers on iOS (chrome and other browsers are a mere skin on Safari).
But saying Safari sucks is like saying iPhones suck. It obviously is but users will garantee it's better for all unimportant rules. -
@wannesdebacker If you have a Mac and run the latest OS and version of Safari, then I would argue that you are wrong, but you are entitled to your opinion. If you don’t then what are you basing your opinion on?

nikola12335ySafari is such a fcking crap, it does not follow w3c standards ! i think my company will also ban Safari users on our website production.

temo2ginal23ySo many years later it still sucks a lot. All my current bugs are only on safari.
I borrowed my friends iphone and ipad but now I can't use developer tools cause to do that on windows I have to kill 14 dragons and will end up with some glitching emulator :@ -
I am having a similar issue, I released a web app that I made using Alpine.js, it works perfectly on Chrome, then I asked a friend of mine to check it out, he uses Safari on his iPhone and none of my JS works unless I enable Developer mode.....

10basetom42yIt got to the point where now I detect Safari and pass it my legacy CSS used for printers and legacy browsers such as Netscape and IE. Serving clean content with no formatting is still better than a buggy site.
Seriously, FUCK Safari, piece of shit browser
