Company I work for issues Macs to everyone, and it's a software company. I'm not a MacOS fan. Tried for 3 months, still irritates me. Now I have Windows 10 on my MacBook Pro, and the world is right again. You can't imagine the flack I get!!!!

    @runfrodorun trust me, I would do rather run Ubuntu Gnome, or Fedora over MacOs.

    Why buy an expensive computer that has hardware from 2012, and low specs for 2012, and then install windows on it? does not make sense to me. at all.

    @magicMirror I think using the company issued mac was mandatory. He found a loophole.

    Moreover why install windows on anything!?

    I used osX for a while, I found I could do the same things I can do on ubuntu, things I can not do on windows (easily).

    So why the mac hate? Its a good free computer in this case

    @ronakkaria I'm not a kid, I don't like being in a walled garden.

    I prefer freedom and knowing all the details of errors so I can fix them myself and don't need to call or pay for "geniuses" to fix them.

    But on a serious note: Unix.

    And when you're not developing.. it still just works better. The UX. Not entirely Microsoft's fault here.
