Slept 8 hours.

Drinking coffee like every day.

Barely able to keep eyes open, fighting against sleeping.

Weather sensitivity sucks....

Add to the tiredness nausea, dizziness and head aches and the torture is perfect.

This is me today. Coffee doesn't help, and boring meetings doesn't make it any better. The next meeting is just fika though, so that'll be nice i guess.

Had that yesterday. In the woods, the usual solution is to sleep longer, at least 10 hours. Worked.

The medical theory behind (yes, we have that) is that with such a long sleep, the body just forgets that it wanted to ache.

Quit coffee completely for 2 weeks. Then start again with weaker coffee. It will kick in hard - a lot harder than your strong joe does today.

Also, consider cold coffee. Works much better as you remove the soothing element - warmth.

    @netikras

Coffee is one of the few things that I really *enjoy* in my life.

    That's a big no.

@IntrusionCM I know. I also enjoy coffee very much.

    An alternative would be decaff.

One way or another, occasionally resetting caffeine affinity to reduce tollerance you've grown over time is a good idea.

You only have to pause caffeine for ~2 weeks

@netikras Does this help with weather sensitivity or is this just general coffee bad advice?

In my case, it's really weather sensitivity - talked with doctors.

Has it's violent streak thx to the draught and climate change.

@IntrusionCM IDK if it does. It could. "weather sensitivity" is usually "idiopathic sensitivity for atmospheric pressure changes". "Idiopathic" means "no one knows why or how". And sensitivity to pressure changes is basically sensitivity to pressure difference changes of the "inside" and the "outside" of your body. Coffee definitely has an effect on your "inside" liquid pressure. So... I wouldn't be surprised if coffee (caffeine) plays a role in your "weather sensitivity".

Relatable. I think I’m going to get 2 hours tonight. 6:46am and I’m still wide awake. The rest (minus nausea) is pretty normal for me.

    Wheeee.
