What's the best laptop for coding and programming. Especially for software engineering, fullstack development and making android apps etc. I want it to be able to develop anything on it apps games websites etc. Suggest a budget model and a price doesn't matter but still realistic model.

    Personal favourite is the Dell XPS 13, or 15 if you want more screen size + some gpu power.

    Although, I still think a desktop should be your main machine, cost/power ratio is a lot better, and you can upgrade it as you go

    Something with like an i3 or i5, it doesnt really matter, good hardware wont make anyone a good developer

    @OnlyBytes no, it shortens compilation time, something you only have to deal with every 20 minutes or so

    @RazorSh4rk Well it is also no joy if your editor is lagging all the time while you write code... Trust me I know what I am talking about...

    Wrote some code once in Visual Studio Code on a Asus Transformer Book T100... It was definitely no joy...😅

    @OnlyBytes mate, my travel machine is an atom, and it runs eclipse perfectly, whats in that transformer, an oldschool celeron?
