When your friends think that viewing/changing source code of a website is hacking...

Idiots. For it to be hacking it has to be green and black of course...

I viewed source code for a website on my bosses computer he immediately yelled what is this? Chinese!...

Seriously it was in English....

I taught an eight year old how to change source code of websites once. He had really fun until is parents accused me of teaching him hacking!

In the first year of my apprenticeship we changed news posts to contain the visitors name and then explained the concepts behind it to show the parents and friends what we learned

Wow I can relate so much. I had a classmate and he was like "yo, yesterday I bought a new phone on amazon. But the cool thing is: I got it for 30€ by hacking their checkout page. I edited their HTML code". I told him that that's not how it works.

A few days later he came and said that they took the full price from his bank account and not only the 30€
