    That's the cutest system monitor I've ever seen.

    You kinda want full CPU usage when compiling. Something is wrong otherwise.

    @c3r38r170 that's the standard one in gnome

    @Wizard1997 you running fedora, Alma, CentOS, or rocky?

    100% cpu usage and half of that is probably just spent on internal book keeping

    Man gradle is such an over engineered pile of shit

    @12bitfloat I always thought the name implied you would be waiting from cradle to grave...

    @electrineer

    i just selected the performance mode in the Power mode settings

    @Wizard1997 what does that have to do with anything?

    @electrineer I believe it's in response to your comment about using full CPU utilization when compiling.

    GDM has plugins that allow you to set min/max thresholds on your hardware on the fly.

    I used to use it all the time before meltdown was patched (old hardware). It took my laptop battery runtime from 2 hours to 7 hours when I didn't need heavy compute.

    I stopped using it because it made the system unstable after the meltdown patch and eventually caused my battery to expand. I know it was that because I went through two batteries in 8 months and haven't had problems since I switched to a new distro that doesn't have that plugin installed.

    impressive multiprocessing though. Sadly, my experience is 100%/80%/15%/0%
