    Memory leak gone
    Don't like that the background she shrinks on task selection sure
    The new screenshot selection feature is awesome !
    Works fast
    Network center isn't buggy anymore
    Soon all that will be left is making configuration easier of certain features that are hidden and aesthetics !

    @AvatarOfKaine then Gnome is Windows Vista. Beautiful but unusable.

    @cafecortado lol, so true

    @cafecortado describe how gnome is unusable ?
    You can view every window you have open multiple virtual desktops that are clearly shown on the right

    All this with one press of the taskbar button

    You can either view all your programs or you can search by category keyword or name

    You can easily drag windows between desktops and you can still strange Windows over one another and there are still all the major windowing states etc

    If anything it's like apple

    Mate was good, but after it broke when i updated my Distro, i switched to Budgie, and its amazing.
    Gnome is usable, but more functional than aesthetically pleasing.

    @thebiochemic budgie is more aesthetically pleasing you're saying ?
  • 0
    @thebiochemic is the way you use budgie the same as gnome roundabouts ? I can't remember if I reviewed budgie before.
  • 0
    @thebiochemic it's familiar though as is a comment from fucking Zimmerman

    i cant tell you the exact details of budgie, but all i can say is, it feels like mate, but a bit more sophisticated and polished, that's pretty much it.

    But i have a good time with it so far 👌

    @thebiochemic so like windows 10 ?
  • 0
    @AvatarOfKaine the application menu is closer to the one from gnome, but you can customize it.
    I dont use a taskbar, i basically just inherited the plank dock from mate and use it with budgie now. It has a widget thingy, where you have a lot of quick settings and a calendar, and a few other neat things.

    I dont like win 10 really, but i do like this DE and the Mate one.
    Can't really explain, but you could check out some videos from budgie, it's honestly quite nice
