@TheBardAbaddon possibly because people are a*holes. Not all but this is common on stack overflow.
So basically, this behavior is the result of two things below
1. Noobs asking noob questions without searching or even thinking.
2. Self proclaimed experts trying to get reps and trying to prove other answers as idiotic.

Not too sure about downvotes on this specific post though.

@TheBardAbaddon stackexchange already has an app with a section for stackoverflow, the new app for stackoverflow is the same, meanwhile in the origina stackexchange app, many complaints are coming in and no bugs are being fixed!

Very satisfying​ to see nobody escapes the environment of hatred in SO.

Stupid tho, they already had an official app, Stack Exchange.
