Question. HID mouse isn't working. Windows 11 update was installed. Check mouse settings and updated drivers in device manager. Still doesn't want to work. Any suggestions

Unplug it, uninstall drivers + delete drivers, reboot, plug mouse in, profit... usually

Do you have a bios with mouse control/cursor? You could see if it is working there to rule out mouse glitch Also check other ports if you can.

Have you tried rolling back the windows 11 upgrade?

Some hardware isn't supported in W11 because manufacturers haven't sucked big daddy Microsofts dick yet.

    Install linux
    You will do just fine

Update chipset drivers first then anything usb, thunderbolt etc. Then hid/input drivers next.

@Jaydin so you didn't fix the issue switching to linux? Btw some time ago i had a "similar" issue, the problem was that the mouse button was stuck 🤣

@Jaydin that's most certainly a user error if I ever saw one 😎
