I would probably only buy 2-in-1 desks if I needed such a one, so you can sit OR stand.
-
jchw11028yNot really, in my opinion, but it is still probably good for your health to stand a bit more.
The motorized ones look cool but a cheaper and less distracting solution to the same problem is tall chairs, that way you can sit or stand without adjusting the desk. -
Its better to stand, but remember to have a soft standing area or your feet will hate you.

Voxera113888yWe got adjustable desks when we moved to our new office and I have found that it helps lessen back and neck pain.
I usually stand an hour or to in the morning and another pass after lunch.
That makes for a varied posture over the day. -
ymas4718yIf you want to try it, check out uncaged ergonomics. They have some products that you can use to "simulate" a standing desk. Check out their keyboard tray for example:https://youtu.be/C_1IzyVK9go
I have one, very happy with it. -
Yes, the motorized ones where you can stand a couple of hours a day and sit comfortably the rest.

Appreciate the input, everyone! I've been getting real tight lately in my lower back, so I think I'm gonna give one of these hybrid desks a try. 👍🏻

i loved the varier kneelchair in combo with the variable standing desk at my last job. Was really enjoying working there because of this.

I have been looking for a good kneeling chair for ages. I used one a few years back and it was amazing. Thanks for sharing this, I'll check out Varier.
