Can we invent a firewall which blocks out all the shit about: woke, alt right, left, right, politics in general, global warming, aging of population and the rest of scary or extremely divisive stuff? I know which is impossible because of HTTPS but if it existed I would gladly install it on my home network.

@zlice I’m not sure which it’s Facebook that got the ball rolling but on an old laptop on which I installed Windows 7 and Mountain Lion and which I use to remind myself of childhood/early teen years (I have installed classic games and software on it and sometimes I use it for retro LAN parties) I excluded Facebook using the “hosts” file so it gets 1/10 of the “news” and the heated but ultimately useless debates.
