@0and1 in germany you get 22 days paid vacation by law. 24 if your employeer doesn't want to pay overtime. Usual in IT is around 30 days. You often can transfer days to the next year. Thwy have to be consumed till end of april is business standard. Sometimes overtime can be converted to paid vacation. That's how.

Or you are me self employeed and it just costs you ALOT of money to take vacation at all xD

@KDSBest yupp, that's correct. And I was approaching the 2-years worth of vacation days saved [2x22], and by the local law anything above 2years - disappears. I.E. I can't save up 3 years worth of vac. days. So I had to use them anyways :)
