What do you think about Powershell on Linux?

I personally like PS quite a lot, on windows. It quickly became one of my favorite languages, during my apprenticeship.
I also have an everburning hatred for python, so PS is kinda enticing to me.

PowerShell on Linux is about as useful as a cigarette lighter on a motorcycle.

Sounds great in theory, useless when you're traveling 65mph and trying to light one up.

If I'm using PS I might as well be using a Windows device.

@sariel to be fair, a cig lighter socket is quite useful in longer moto-trips. Pop in an usb charger adapter and you can use gmaps/sygic and charge your phone while riding on unknown roads.

I'm planning to install one on my bike this winter.

As for PS on Linux, the only thought that comes to mind: wtf?? Why???

I trying PS on Linux to make PS-Session to my windows machine. But that is the only use-case I can see. I like PS better than bash, though. But it's simply not the right tool on Linux.

    Why?

I mean, a bash compatible like zsh has all you need and more.
