AAAAAARRRRGGHHHH FUUUCKKER!!!

The new MacBook Pro with touchbar is ABSOLUTELY SHITE.

I can't tell you how many times I have accidentally touched the escape key with my pinky while typing. Also accidentally touched "send" while in apple Mail halfway through writing something.

Apple clearly did no user testing with this as I have googled around and many folk are having the same frustrations.

I've just typed a massive note into jira and towards the end my pinky hit the escape key and I lost everything!!

FUCK CUNT BASTARD WANK!!!

    Possible to turn off ?

I've got the 2016 model with out the touch bar and think my older model was better as The keys get stuck a lot

Got the one without the touch bar. Happy user.

And here I am confused between MBP and surface. Now I think I should go with SP pro ...

@makkBit Disable it if you don't like. For me, it is being more time saver than disturbing.

No idea what they were thinking with their design, do they not have a single Vim user to tell them its a shit idea!? I think I might currently be working on the last MBP I ever buy, unless those morons change their design, fix the keyboard and reduce the price.

@eshwarenm thinking about getting one of those... any issues?

@eshwarenm yeah, I would like to know too. Hp spectre 360x is giving more specs at a less price. plus many youtube reviewers are bashing the MBP2016 and many devranters too ... really confused!!

My company was going to replace my old MacBook pro with the new ones. Thanks for the rant, I'll now ask them for the one without that shitbar.

I have the one with touchbar. The one without I believe has less bandwidth on the USB c ports. I have no issues with typing whatsoever. But I also rarely use the touchbar.

I can absolutely share your frustration :( Had the 15" with touch bar for a week and decided to sent it back. Last time I checked you could only drop the touch bar on the 13".. Hopefully Apple will announce a 15" without touch bar on the WWDC.

@trueter don't put to much high hopes on that. It'd be like recognizing touchbar is a piece of shit and unfortunately for us, Apple doesn't do that...

@jordinebot @makkBit At first I had issue with connectivity since there's only 2 thunderbolt-3 ports. Found a cheap dongle online and that's solved. Otherwise, it's brilliant. Feels like having an Air but it's Pro.
