When you punch a crack into the top of your desk in front of your wife and kids, it’s time to walk away from IM’s for a bit.

    @devphobe Yeah, I’m working on that - dusting off the ‘ol resume. It’s funny, my manager treats us very well and it’s a good company, but our team leads have no idea what they’re doing and turn trivial tasks into mountains, impacting my time with my kids. Pisses me off. How many Friday nights and weekends am I supposed to work for crying out loud?

    try to channel that into something else, talk to someone, otherwise it'll bottle up and you'll explode

    @darksideofyay Absolutely right. I haven’t been exercising at all, which is certainly a contributing factor. Taking some time off soon to reset and evaluate some life priorities.
