When im coding a backend in java spring boot i feel like im "at home" and in peace. No other programming language or framework makes me feel this way. Do you guys also feel like this when you work in your favorite language + framework?

    Well, for me I code on demand. I don't necessarily have a favorite language because really I got a personal hatred for javascript but I use it on a daily. So it's a mixed feeling one would say.

    Yup. When coding in my first language (Python), it feels like my home language

    1 - Java and Spring;
    2 - C++ and Qt.

    I have good memories with Pascal, C++, Assembly, Python, and even Javascript. I use C++ more than anything and it does what I need most of the time. I really like Python though as it feels like playing with legos.

    I'm a bit different. I've done so much research and study in writing tests for legacy in the last few years, that I feel most comfortable there (irrespective of language).

    Don't mind writing new code or changing old. Just feel most at home testing and refactoring.
    Feels like I'm "doin' god's work" when I've tamed a class/chunk that's been causing suffering for me or others.
    Seeing tidy, well defined classes makes my soul sing.

    I need to get a different hobby 😅
