How to make sure your users appreciate your work

    That's absolutely rediculous. Paying for a less secure password. Fuck's sake
  • 38
    No no no, they're paying for the convenience of an easy to remember password.

    All those extra things just make it hard for the user to remember their password

    But you could use a password manager like everyone else, a free one at that

    @1nfiniteLoop but those are so confusing!
    (people are idiots)

    😂😂😂😂

    This is hilarious, I'm definitely going to implement this in my current project. I hope it's not patented.

    If someone is going to do a brute force/dictionary attack a capital and a number and a special character would just slow them down but will not stop them. Also - securing all your passwords w/ one password in a vault is a trade off between ease and security in it self.

    @stevenliemberg the point is not to prevent someone from hacking your password (that's impossible), it's to prevent someone from hacking your password in a reasonable amount of time. You need to change the password every now and then

    10/10 would pay for this..
  • 9
    @kedv 69/69 would noscope.

    I think that's a nice was to donate.

    @620hun you can patent software?

    @Condor still - its pretty much the equivalent of putting all your eggs in one basket ;)

    @Bikonja sure - I get that - just pointing that out. But besides that, how much is that "extra layer" worth when you use it within a service that does not simply block you after x failed attemptes (within a certain time frame).

    It's it wrong that I'm mostly just pissed off about the lack of vertical spacing between the buttons caused by improper use of bootstrap classes?

    Use your Birthday (2,99$)
    Use your Birthday in the stupid Format MM/DD/YYYY (19,99$)
    Use the password "password" (9,99$)
    Use the password "passw0rd" (5,99$)

    @Terrestrial ++ for "stupid format"
  • 1
    @Terrestrial ++ solely for the stupid date format 😝

    @bcye you can butnshouldnt be able to. It's mostly because patent office laws were made by people who don't understand how software is different than cars

    Why isn't this feature meant for sign up page but on a sign in page?
