At the moment it's an expected best decision for you.
Anyway in 2 weeks you'll be back on Windows or complaining about whatever distribution you have chosen which gives you the option to try another distribution, eventually you'll be compiling hours on gentoo thinking how FreeBSD is really the king and then you buy a Mac because you think that you have wasted too much time and you argue that it's the same and even better looking. After 15 years you realize that it doesn't really matter what OS you use anyway.

@BillAfe i ain't gonna lie is a bit difficult sometimes but if you really want CV flexibility you have to go Linux and for light gaming you can use Linux

Took the leap more than a year ago. Never felt the need to go back. It's while fixing the problems that you learn more about Linux. IMO that's the best part
