Or is it my life that has impacted coding? I'm so glad I was born in the right time. I can't even imagine what I would do instead of coding if I had to live in say, the middle ages.

@mt3o Funny, my grand grand father actually was a sailor for a while, and survived two shipwrecks. Then he moved to San Francisco and worked as a carpenter, and survived the great earthquake of 1906. He led an exciting life so no, I don't think he suffered from the lack of computers.
