    What the fuck is "dog food in"? I think I saw a video with that it the title once but it had nothing to do with programming

    @Treighton using the programs you made how you intend the end user to use them. Extra testing that doesn't just test functionality, but looks at the product from a "is this something you'd want to use?" standpoint. The term comes from the idea that if you're cooking for the dog, who cares what it tastes like, but if you have to eat it too suddenly the taste matters a lot more. Similarly, if you're just coding for the client or the unit tests, who cares how the program runs as a whole, but if you have to use it too, suddenly you care more about the overall experience not just meeting the basic obligations.
