I think today's the day, when I finally drop my dual booting safety net and install Linux exclusively on my main desktop

    Also, VS Code is cross platform, you could try that. I assume you've already looked into .NET core etc.

    @chadd17 I'm a .NET developer by trade, so it's the only reason I've never fully committed before. C# is good on VS Code, but still nowhere near VS. I'll still have my Surface though with Windows so I'll at least have an option if i need it.

    You can always use a virtual machine if you need something Windows exclusive.

    That's true, and may be a good enough option for me to wipe my Surface too!

    @RiderExMachina There were a lot of things, but once my computer started booting slowly I figured it was time to move on.
