    Yes, its called year-2038 bug. Its an buffer overflow is the unixtime.old Gnu/linux computer, amazon dash buttons, ... will become problems.

    @stop only 32 bit PC will break right, and I assume they wont break the 64 bit PCs. Are peple still runnimg 32 bit nowadays?

    Many companies use their old PCs only because "theyre working" . IT is for them only a cost factor.

    I'm thinking that by 2038 every computer that runs the internet will have been upgraded to 64bit. So I really don't think this will be that big of a deal.

    I know how to fix it!

    ...make sure all of the networked Unix-based machines use a 64-bit time_t struct in their kernels and C Libraries.

    Which will probably happen by then anyways, most stuff does have 64-bit time_t these days as far as I know.
