Can I use the devRant avatar in my community project? Is there any limitations?

I've seen websites using their avys so I'd say yes

I still don't understand why the need to know what he knows? Guess no one will know

You're welcome to use your avatar, but don't replicate our avatar builder utilizing our servers or scraping our resources

@jpichardo @CozyPlanes Oh I have no clue if it's officially allowed but I've used it in other places yes. Still gotta mail them about that :).

@trogus So I can like save my avatar to a local device and use it where I want as long as I don't use devRant's server resources (as in using the api every time)? (which I would understand definitely)

@trogus i mean can i fetch the finished avatar with the api? Not the builder

@CozyPlanes if you have your own app not associated with devRant and you let other people create or pick a devRant avatar using our API then that would be using our server resources and unique designs as though they were your own, and is not ok. You are welcome to use your own personally chosen avatar across the interwebs though.

Maybe @dfox has some thoughts on this from a technical perspective
