This sounds like its a graphics driver error which, support for Linux might be worse.
-
@Torbuntu last time I checked none of my graphics card drivers where available for Linux (3 years ago)
-
@Gmon64kay yes that is true, but swirching to Linux as permanent OS may not be the solution since manufacturer support is not that good (unless that has changed in 3 years)

CristCD2957yIf it's a driver issue just revert to an older one or update if you haven't. People here will take advantage of anything to tell people to install Linux. That's not always the best option.

wrgl08597yThanks for all your input. I managed to track the possible villain to a update of Windows 10 that was installed the night before shit went crazy. Restored it, screen works but the WiFi driver is going batshitcrazy instead. So. Sounds like a fun new problem to start dealing with. ;-)

Don't know what's wrong, hardware or software, I have no freaking idea. But I'm tempted to take this as a oppertunity to blame windows10 whipe my computer clean and running some Linux OS instead.
