Finally made a switch to elementary OS from Windows 10. Couldn't be more happier.

Wait if you still on it after a year (after your first struggle with packet lists, drivers, 32 vs 64 bit libraries, inconsistent config file formats, etc.

@Salmakis I've never had any trouble with that on elementary 😅 (used it for years)

@Salmakis That's why I didn't go with arch linux. I think elementary OS is easier to maintain but we will see.

@waqas-ibrahim I know but I don't think many newcomers join the supporter program that fast!

@linuxxx It doesn't take much and I really like the idea :)

I have no idea why, but setting up a elementary OS partition on my XPS was a pain, while fedora, Ubuntu or even arch were much easier.

I just couldn't get the PC to shutdown properly and to disable my dGpu to use the integrated one no matter what 🤔 Also the first time I installed grub within eOS it wasn't working properly and I always had to do everything manually or go through another distro

Not sure if anyone had trouble dualbooting windows and eOS besides me.

@waqas-ibrahim tried everything but just couldn't make it work properly. I ended up with Fedora in the end as my stable Linux distro.
