    I have been on SO since 2013 and never asked a question. I must be doing it wrong.

    @ryanmhoffman, I'm pretty much since it exists and I believe I asked just one and I answered myself at the end.

    @funvengeance What limitations are there?
  • 1
    @simeg when your questions have bad feedback, at some point you get banned from asking questiona until you get your reputation back

    @funvengeance Okay, that sounds like you should work on your question skills instead of ask questions that get downvoted. You are not contributing to the community by asking bad questions, there's documentation regarding how to ask good questions.

    @simeg people tell you what you are doing wrong and so it's innevitable to learn how to ask questions but when you ask only very concrete questions for instance cobol related question, you won't get response and if no one ia interested in cobol, no one will even see your question which contributes to your bad rating

    @funvengeance So you're saying a that if you're asking a bunch of questions that all have 0 in rating, your account will get blocked from asking more questions?

    @simeg yes!

    @zshh anti spam measure. It's a nice feature, because then people asking basic-ass duplicate questions will be forced to stop till they learn how to search first
