I’m now running Fedora Workstation as the primary OS on my laptop simply because Linus Torvalds does... I mean if it’s good enough for the creator of Linux, it’s good enough for me. 😅

How good is it? I'm starting to dislike Ubuntu and need a replacement for a VM

@gitpush I actually like it a lot. Ubuntu still is the best when it comes to online support and finding fixes for issues that may arise, but Fedora is pretty awesome.

@gitpush it tracks everything you do and every file you create, the language is stuck in Korean, and the government sponsored intranet has like 20 sites.

@watzon I might try it out I need to setup a server for development testing. Was tempted by the fact it has docker support out of the box, guess it is optimized for containers?

@chadd17 The OS has some very sophisticated detection preventing it from running in non communism environment.

Play the background music provided on max and remove all the food from the house. If you are in the USA go as close as possible to Cuba, if in Europe go as close a possible to 1970.

@theCreativeOne pros: well supported, unity is pretty nice. Cons: bloated and pretty slow as far as Linux goes, proprietary

I've really enjoyed Korora, which is Fedora based. Biggest issue for me is the nvidia drivers and the Anaconda installer if you want to keep old partions that are on another drive. But yeah, Fedora is a really neat system, I just need to use it more....
