@windlessuser Nope haha! Tbh I manage quite some servers and have shitloads of terminals open so it happens sometimes but never like this :P

@linuxxx it became so much of a problem - among other things - that I now preach immutable servers!

@configurator Just rebuild it through a control panel so I can't do much else than logging in as root xD

Linux434837y"who" command shows which IP the all the sessions, that would have saved you some time ;)
-
@Linux I'm not using it currently but yeah wanna do! Just not sure how I'd set that up with multiple vps's (or just at home)
-
Linux434837y@linuxxx Yeah I wanna try it at home too, Found some nice machines on aliexpress that I am going to buy for that purpose

epse36587yRecently had a very annoying bot check a lot of typical admin page urls on my site. There is no such page but it bugged me. Looked up the ip. Residential in Russia. WHOIS lists even the 3 people living there and telephone. Lol

xsacha4317y@configurator why you say that? Virtual instances are usually logged in to as root. You need a key and they are regularly cleaned.
-
@xsacha because logging in as root is a good way to do bad things accidentally. I don't allow root login ever for servers I manage, so you can only do anything via sudo.
