    Designers don't need git unless a developer works with them. Then make it mandatory! There is no excuse with tools like www.gitkraken.com
    exept maybe if they just do the design and hand it off to the developer then use www.zeplin.io

    For design (which usually doesn't need file level diffs) I could imagine using Google Drive or Dropbox with extended version history... but email? That's the most painful storage medium...
