b3b340657y@tracktraps building it rn. It says its not stable on their homepage but I'll just give it a try.

@b3b3 btw: install arc-theme-solid and arc-icons too. They're perfect for Budgie.
-
Nvidia says the WM for Budgie isn't good enough for games, so if you're a gamer, I'd stay away for the moment.
XFCE is good and lightweight, but I can't stay away from Cinnamon... -
Celes6877yI3/Sway/Bspwn/... Well I tried a lot of tilling manager, currently on I3 becaise wayland was bothering me
-
@RiderExMachina No problem with NVIDIA. There is an option in Budgie "Window -> Disable unredirect" that fixes the performance problem - if it actually occurs.

"Disabled G-SYNC in desktop environments, such as Budgie, that use libmutter-0.so.
An existing rule to disable G-SYNC for libmutter.so no longer applied after the library was renamed to libmutter-0.so." -
b3b340657y@tracktraps jup realized that its available from the official repo after it failed compiling and I was looking for a solution 😌 sadly not exactly what I wanted but I'll keep it (because it allows screen rotation) until I find something else
-
I use Awesome WM (^_-) and arandr for set up my two monitors, also you can set the rotation
-
sunny4410577yI think it depends on your machine. If it is old & low ram, then you should choose lightweight without animation else go for high animation & sexy Environment👌😆
-
I've come to like Cinnamon lately...
Shouldn't X(/A)randr be able to rotate your keyboard even on LXDE (Arandr is basically a GUI for the command line tool xrandr)?

Just installed Arch for my first time. Using lxde right now but sadly theres now way I can rotate my 2nd monitor (since I have it vertical). What desktop environments do you guys use? Should be lightweight/fast/not many animations and shit.
