All of a sudden the Macbook Pro power adapter was broken yesterday. Guess how much does it cost just to replace it?

Fuck you Apple. If you're gonna overprice, it make it durable and good quality dammit.

    Well, why do you buy such overpriced crap?
  • 1
    @tracktraps Because obviously more expensive==better :p /s lol

    @tracktraps When I bought it I wanted an average laptop. But my boss wanted to get the Macbook Pro and he wanted me to get the same because it's better to work with the same environment as a team. I told him that's out of my budget and he subsidised the overpriced bit. But after using it for 3+ years I wouldn't say it's crap. The Macbook itself is fine. The adapter is the crap here.

    If it was durable and good quality it wouldn't be overpricing :p

    @eskizo yeah but when it's not durable as expected, it's overpriced++ to fix it :P

    Well, they gotta increase those profit margins somehow, right? I mean, they've done everything from unethical labour conditions to selling a similar product each year with increasingly higher prices. They must be running out of ideas!

    Still, if I had the money I'd get a macbook pro just to know how good it is considering the price they have.

    @DeadInside Both. I didn't provide a figure because what I don't have an idea in which currency it's more friendly to fellow devranters. But I'll tell what I see. It's AUD109 ffs.
