@avneesh I would agree that vscode WAS a great ide. The recent updates have been not so great with microsoft spamming you with CoPilot nonsense. Also, the major reason i feel people prefer vscode is it's free and open source ( to most extent ), The lack of competition makes it a good option.

The day sublime becomes open source project is the last day i will vscode.
