There is nothing funnier than listening to the complaints of a linux user having to use windows.

I find OS elitism very boring.

"damn, my drivers are working. what to do now?"

@CWins This post has nothing to do with 'elitism' and not all OS users (aka about everyone in this community) are OS elitists (I am not one for sure at least, or at least not in the 'tone' you probably mean).

@calmyourtities Oh if only that were true for me when I used windows.... and yeah everything is working fine on my Linux laptop 😊. No, I am not saying that that is the same for every linux user.

@linuxxx Nvidia's drivers are the only problems I know about

@calmyourtities For some they work and for some they don't :)

Not? So this "omg i had to use windows, and it's sooooo bad, it's soooo painful, i can't imagine how people use that, I'd rather spend a year in north korean prison that bear with this any longer" shit is something else than "my favorite OS is so much better"?

Thats like a kid throw itself on the floor, hammering on the ground "why don't i get my favorite sweets?!? I wanna dieeeee!" except it's not a stupid kid but more likely an educated professional who thinks this kind of behavior shows how he's is really an expert and is used to deal with superior technology.

Some people need to grow up.

@CWins Are you referring to a specific person on here or?

No specific person in mind. @linuxxx
Just something i see with OSs, languages, IDEs and other tools.

@CWins Fair enough, I thought you were attacking me.

For some people it's something with a reason behind it though and although I agree that you shouldn't keep hammering on someone in order to convert them, if that's your sole opinion, I might not agree with you but I'll at least let you have that opinion. I might be able to start a discussion on it but of course, it's still your opinion.

Yeah, I'd rather work in a distribution center for a fucking year than having to work with windows every day, true. but instead of judging right away, maybe ask what the reason is and if you don't agree, fair enough, that's your right.

You're describing two different things here. If you prefer linux and don't want to use windows that's fine, i would never judge you for that.

If you however, behave like a crybaby with lots of absurd superlatives how incrediblydisgustinglyhorrible-idratherkillmyself-worstthinginthehistoryofmankind windows is, it says more about you, than it does about windows. And i don't care why. All technology has it's pros and cons, but some level of "hate" is just absurd. So, if not, because of a windows bug, a windowsbased robot has molested you as a child, there won't be a reasonable reason anyway, so i don't wanna know.
