not sure, but with previous upgrades, the reboot is part of the upgrade cycle, you shouldn’t intervene, you are kinda committed. stopping it will fuck you up. Just read your grab, sorry spoke to soon. you’re probably better off re-downloading it and trying again.

thinking of upgrading tonight, just wondering if apfs works with standard spinny Hd’s all i can read is its for ssd at present, but others have reported that its also fine for main internal spinny HD but not for time machine external spinny hds. anybody?

BM3224537yI’ve noticed the desktop icons update Slowly now. Even when I rename a file on the desktop it take about 20 seconds for the change to reflect.

I also had a problem. The install basically bricked my drive. I would up doing a clean install after a booting into the online startup partition and installing from fresh.

Trying to install macOS High Sierra. However the installation file seems to be corrupt. And it keeps rebooting halfway through the install cycle never allowing me to intervene and reset and revert to my previous iOS. Thanks Apple FML
