Hay folks,

if you have a subnotebook, do you have/need optical drive in it?

let me rephrase the question:

"do you need an optical drive at all?"

Good question.
I have neither in my PC nor my small notebook an optical drive and I dont miss it at all.
Must have been about 2 years now since I last used an optical drive.

I have everything either locally, on my server or on USB drives. I think optical drives are not needed anymore. They tend to be faulty and slow anyways...
