Well, it’s not entirely bad. Minus the whole privacy issues and insiders preview crashing every 10 minutes but beyond that it’s reasonably good.

Plus it’s an 100x better then 8 & vista.

@C0D4 Privacy issues are an absolute dealbreaker for me. Also, my every experience with it -- and those of everyone I know -- have been horrible.

But perhaps it genuinely works perfectly on others' machines? /shrug

True, and you can disable/limit a fair bit, I did experience a few issues with W10 but only while I was using the insider builds, it’s pretty stable (for me anyway) otherwise.

But seeing as everything now a days is tracking you one way or another I feel privacy has left the building unless you don’t use any tech.

@Ashkin atleast it's better than w8. Default Video player took lifetime to even start the video in w8. But overall w10 sucked too somewhere

I had terrible experience with w10. Just after I got my new phone, I saved data from previous phone, on desktop, in hurry.
Later when I started windows only to transfer data to new phone, windows got corrupted.
Even, Failed to refresh.
I had to settle with hard factory reset. Lost data

I really liked windows XP. Simple and fast.
But the biggest issue with it was it used to get corrupted easily. I had formated my drive number of times

In last 6 months, I had used linux extensively. 99% of times.

yeah except you can't put in 95, 98 and ME since they were DOS based - but even with them in the row, Windows 95 was one of the most successful ones whereas 98 had some flaws (never noticed any Problems with 98 or me tough).

Also: Compared to XP, Vista, 7, 8 and 10 are Gold - I mean yes, Windows XP was stable and fast but that's because it's still more or less just Windows 2000 with some new Paint whereas Vista with the new kernel is Kind of a restart.
