Oh boy, my fellow devRanters, I just signed an 4 digit monthly salary (that's a lot in Lithuania) job contract, I'm a future Unix infrastructure engineer :o

As per original concept of ranting, it's been almost two months since I wrote for the stickers and didn't get a reply >:(

Hey fellow Baltic's guy (I'm not from Lithuania but I'm near by πŸ˜„)

As for Dev salary's. Isn't 4 digits normal for Devs? I'm mean, where I live the national average is 4 digits and good devs often make 2-3x the national average.

    Anyway, glad for you ☺️

@Froot avg. salary in Lithuania is 800€, however most of the country lives with 300 - 500€ per month; I'm not sure what kind of salary I should expect in my country for such a job, but getting 4digit salary , which is triple of avg. salary in the country makes me hyped :D

@gitversion Holy shit. I didn't know the differences were that big inside the Baltics. Here, the average gross salary in last quarter was a bit over 1200€.

@gitversion congrats fellow git, wish you all the best man :))

Interesting. In some other countries of the EU that salary is illegal. That shows how relative things are.

    Congratulations man! :)
