    I don't have experience with python so I can't recommend that.

    @inukinator I dont recommend actually any sort of language, everyone has his own taste and priorities. I use node and ruby for server side programming, and it works fine for me. I also know a lot of people who love PHP.

    This speaks more about you than the language itself. Discipline comes from the developer. Buf give it a go in Node, Python or Ruby. They might click better with you.

    There are plenty of frameworks that make php less shit, but in the end, a polished turd is still a turd.
