Why do theoretical computer science and maths lectures mostly start at 8 am. I am a nocturnal creature to me is like having to wake up at 3 am for others. There are other kinds of people that like to get up early so here is a suggestion: Why don't we agree that all lectures start at 11:00 earliest? It is a good time in the day for a lot of people and I would have the time to inject myself with some Mate tea.

@ThatDude Interesting. I bet they would have had even better results for students that start at 11 am.

Well at my University there would simply be no time to move it back 😂 The earliest we have is 8:15 Am and latest is 8:45 Pm. Personally I'd rather have the morning one than the late evening one

At my uni the schedules are very tight and lecture halls are always occupied, so somebody has to have the 8 am lectures and of course it has to be me, on Tuesdays I have 3 lectures, one at 8 am, another one at 1 pm an the last one at 6:30 pm and it goes until 9 pm

I understand that it is not practically possible to always have lectures that don't start at 8am (@iNeed28hPerDay we start c.t meaning 08:15). It is just a wish from my side because for the next semester I have Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays lectures at 8 am 😭

I like the lectures at 8 am. Then I can procrastinate for 12h after the lecture😂
