I'm making an educational game for a school project.
What I thought I had to do:
Write complex code
Learn to animate
Make all resources by myself
What i do:
Drag and drop stuff into unity.
Moving arrows around.
Im 3 weeks ahead of my planing... After 6 days.
No wonder there are so many 3rd class unity games
Imagine a world that only consists of humans with a developer mindset . Would it be a better or worse world?
Aside from all the food and production problems, let's say we automated it all.5
In light of recent events...

I have a hard desicion to make and I don't know how to choose...
I'll graduate tech uni in a year. I want to work in a start up when I am done. A few days ago my father offered me a position in his company as CTO. Despite the fact that I have ZERO management experience. I'll have to work for him for roughly ten years, then he wants to quit. Do I take the high paying job that I might not enjoy or do I try my luck with a startup/ software company...7
In a meeting after I explained that the user passwords will be encrypted before we save them in the database
Them: "Please don't do that, we don't want to change our clients data"
Me: " so we should save the clear text?"
Need to use new module or pattern:
1. Read the online documentation
2. Have no fu*kin clue what I just read
3. Try for 2 hours and fail.
4. Go home and sleep
5. Wake up at 3am from a fever dream with the solution to the problem
6. Go to work and implement it in 10 min
I guess I learn when I sleep
So I just finished an unpaid! Internship at a local tech company.
At the final meeting my boss said that he wants to keep me in the company. But my "skill level" is not high enough to pay me just now, and if I would stay as an unpaid intern for some months, we could talk about being paid.
After I refused, he was mad at me for "abandoning the team" and "hurting the company"
I hope other company's will be better. :/22
