    get windows on a live USB. change bios boot order so you can boot from usb and repair it.

    You can download windows 10 for free on Microsofts website, get it on a live USB as said above.

    Thanks all, the live CD arrived and we'll try it this way (guess what, downloading windows here would take longer)

    This happened on my Windows machine too. I pretty much only use it for dark souls, so I didn't really care if I fucked it up or not. I just hard reset the thing twice and it started working.

    Obviously, I don't recommend doing that.

    How's the recovery cd working?

    @nosoup4u thanks for your hint.

    It cancels halfway through. Whatever option from the windows recovery we use, it has some error which cancels the process :/

    @BambuSource the recovery cd isn't working? I don't mean to add insult to injury, but she backed up her data recently, hopefully?

    @nosoup4u we're on it right now. Not yet :\

    Looks like the disk is still ok. If you really need to install Windows again, try to download a random Linux ISO (mint will do the job), make it bootable on a key, and boot on it. You'll be able to recover Windows files since the hard drive will be mounted.

    Install linux

    If you have another computer, you should be able to download an ISO of win 10. Then just flash it on a thumb drive rather than wait for a cd in the mail

    Thanks all, we made it :D
    I mean through CMD>notepad>open (explorer) we backuped some files and installed 2015 windows from scratch

    @BambuSource Awesome, glad it worked out

    Got the same. Update broke my installation ... Had to recover from backup... :/

    Maybe your windows made some restore points? You could revert to the latest and pray :o
