Each Programming language have pros and cons... it’s just a matter of knowing which is the appropriate tools to use.. plus C# was built from C++ and a little hint of java.. I think it’s a good programming language... I do believe that it was built to improve coding not to demoralized the programmers..

It has good terminal control.

Third, .NET Framework might only work only on Windows, but .NET Core is getting popular. It is the modern language that basicaly runs on everything....

Ever tried vb6? Not sure you wold still think c# sucks. I love it. Efficient and expressive but it does take studying and extra effort to use it well.

I think it's one of the best languages out there, even though I don't work with it at the moment. Main difference to Java is that Hejlsberg knows how to design a language and iterate on it with new features that stay consistent.

TypeScript's success is also largely a result of his involvement I would say.
