This is the Calendar app that comes with my phone. Can't disable, uninstall, or change these slightly suspicious permissions. FUCK MY LIFE

@coredumped I used to like CyanogenMod and lineage looks cool, but I don't have a laptop, so I can't flash anything

These are all required for the calendar to work since there are features you may not know about like:
-draw over apps so that you can seamlessly save a meeting from another place
-assigning contacts that are relevant to a meeting or even birthday reminders
-getting a meeting by sms (yes it's still a thing)
    -sync with your email account
-store files because how the fuck else would they save it
-make phone calls directly from the app to make it easier

But if you don't like that then just root your phone and take full control. I can say that safely because this is devrant

I would be suspicious if my calculator had those perms....you know what? No i wouldn't be surprised because one day i may want to include my contacts to watch me live stream a 42*72 calculation and then make a phone call to my mother telling her how proud she should be of me

@shaki I guess, but some of those features are useless to me and I don't like the thought that I can't control what has permissions and what doesn't.

@DucksCanCode yeah i know but my point is that they're not suspicious tis all

@shaki I view anything like that as suspicious tbh.

App permissions on android are fucking bullshit, for simple apps like calender they want accessโ€‹ to your phonebook and mic like hmm go fuck yourself.

That is why you buy Lenovo. Each and every permission can be modified.

@Cyanide this phone was a donation, I can't actually buy a phone. Also, I had no idea Lenovo made phones?!?
