@sharktits ok so we actually have different perception on that! when i use my 13" mbp at 1680x1050 i use a 10/11px font (it depends on the application, 11 on my editor and 10 on my terminal). 18px is HUUUUGE for me :D

@sharktits uh i see, didn't thought about that! i'm currently using a 28" 4k display at native resolution so i'm quite used to the really small text (i use a 12px font ) but i've never tried a 11" screen with that res.

@Kubernatural basically i've implemented tests to cover all the use cases for a particular module, in order to ensure that my code works as expected.

then i've started refactoring that module (rewriting functions, splitting functionalities in different files, etc) and just by running the test i was sure that every change i've made wasn't breaking anything in my new module.

it's much faster, you don't need to check every time that your data is processed the right way or check what the code was doing before the refactor in order to ensure that the two modules (old and new) are doing the same thing.

@HoloDreamer nope, I've used a couple of Italian services that used to ship only to Italy (I actually don't remember the names, it was 3/4 years ago) but with one it took 4 months to deliver the package and the other package never arrived. Welcome to Italian shipping services #fml

@HoloDreamer if you don't know anyone from the us that can deliver the Mac to you, you're absolutely right. You need to use some service that collect the package in the us and then ships that to you but I had some bad experience using those services :/

@HoloDreamer i think the best solution if you want to buy a macbook pro is to search for a refurbished one, I've saved almost 800 euros buying a refurbished mbp from the US ( I'm in Italy)
