@filthyranter if (x && x) print("Hey this works"); unfortunately I don't think you can apply your logic here.
-
I've got 12 😏
-
I have a development tool and when you open it, it checks for updates, if there's one available it'll close all instances of the program without prompting you to save your work.
The worst part about this is, one of the more commonly used debug modes requires opening another instance of the program.
Every Wednesday I just sit there spamming Ctrl+S at more frequent intervals than usual knowing what's coming. (At least they have a schedule I guess?) -
A while back I met this company at a Hackathon, I've still very little idea what they specialize in but we were discussion potential opportunities purely because I appreciated their brand.
-
@gitpush if he installs node then he's got another freebie for his profile.
-
@notcool spoiler alert, it's a thing, mine updated the other day.
-
Java followed by Ruby. Again, I had experience with other languages prior.
-
I don't think you quite understand the purpose of gitignore. All it's going to do is stop you merging what you do with them to reality. You'll still know, just nobody else will.
-
I once submitted an assignment with all braces and semi-colons in a column after the default vertical rule in VSCode. The lecturer loved that one.

Take her on a date! Not just any girl would do this for you 😀

This is over WiFi...

Flying Tiger 😍

Bad example for those of us who wore a uniform.

If you agreed on a payment plan then legally he has to pay you.
Never complete a project without payment upfront or a contract, otherwise the customer is able to back out and you've wasted a lot of time. -
@daegontaven no, he's trying to empty the garbage but can't because there's something in there in-use.
-
I use IntelliJ, they have a free version but I use w copy with a student license.
-
The worst ones are those which don't mention the rules when you fail to login.
-
C++, she remembers absolutely everything and is super intelligent. You were with her for a few months but had to break it off because she was so stubborn.
-
I just use Dcoder, costs like $8 for a year and runs loads of languages with a pretty sweet editor. To be fair, the free version isn't bad either.
-
The performance since the update has been consistently poor. I'm running it on a pretty powerful device and it lags.
-
Rust. It's the next big thing so may as well be ready for it.
Otherwise I'd have gone C#. -
someWeirdArrayOfASingleArrayThing, this was because some API returned results as a hash table nested in two arrays of size 1 😑

Hi, I'm an intern at Roblox! I absolutely love reading posts like this and sharing them with my colleagues at the office.
My advice is do what you love and it's probably right. If you're naturally gifted at something and really enjoy it you can go so far. So don't worry about whether it's right, worry about what you're getting from it and whether it's enjoyable for you.
What's your username by the way? I'd love to see some of the stuff you've done. -
I have Linux on an external drive. When I plug it in my computer automatically boots up into Ubuntu. Best decision I ever made and Windows won't mess up my boot file.
-
Typically I'm a web developer but I'm actually doing game development for an internship at the moment.
I absolutely love it! I'm working on some really awesome things. -
I've seen y = x==true ? false : true before. I don't know which is worse.
-
Could you not just use IRC? This seems overkill. It's really just an excuse isn't it? 😂
-
We want to switch to Discord but we use Slack at the moment.
-
We use Dell where I'm at and it's perfect! However the ones we are using are very high-end.
-
I will have a look into this for you, in the meantime it would help to know your username so I can contact you in the future.
