I heard good things about the T and P thinkpads, keyboard seemed nice.

I personally use a Clevo Chassis Laptop that is often used by sellers like system76 and the like. Linux support seems fine for me. Keyboard is nice to type. I personally added an SSD to mine and i could have replaced the RAM and battery while i had it open.

learn portuguese i guess, language proficency is always useful, portugese is a bit limited, there is brazil, portugal of course, some chinese enclace and some weird african countries i think. Language itself isnt so hard, especially if you already know spanish. Although i never mastered it, but i was only like 2 months in brazil (a few years back when everything was less crazy)

@zoridan i did that for a few years and i must say thats its really bad, connection time out, if you need to use the webinterface its horrible and all in all the experience wasnt that nice. Recently migrated it to a power conservative self-build server (asrock j5005 in a node 304) and its way more smooth.

The reality is that the device in the background is there to set the tracks and they are probably too long and have to be cut. 60 to 120 m long tracks are super flexible so there is actually no problem here and the picture shows a normal track finalisation party.

i am srsly considering upgrading my current Pi3 with the 4. Right now i am running a small Nextcloud Instance, some other (mostly static) content for my "intranet" and some other very small services on the thing.

The Performance of the nextcloud close to the useable range but sometimes bad. I am looking since month for a proper homeserver but energy is quite expensive in germoney, and getting a proper Server that could server as NAS+Computing Power is hard to get by. So i probably stick to the RaPi Solution, and for 60 € euro i could do a lot instead of dropping apparently 500 to 1000 € on the "real" solution.
