Definitely having one of those weeks where bugs/tasks are coming in faster than I can get through them. Just when you think the day can't get much worse, you remember it is only Tuesday. Deep breaths lol

No rant here, but anyone else's productivity been squashed today due to the Pokemon Go release last night? haha

Is there anything worse than maintaining two versions of the same application? Checking out two branches and submitting two pull requests for each and every single thing is killing my productivity. 😔

How do you break into freelancing? I have a full time job that I enjoy, but am really interested in freelancing. Have created profiles on freelancing sites and bid on jobs with not much success.

Working on a quirky client request for a good portion of the day. Of course, I come up with a solid plan 5 minutes until the end of the day. Clean/rebuild.. Is it going to work????????????? ::fingers crossed::

Spend a good portion of yesterday bailing out a feature written up by support on one of our clients behalf. It is working now as the requirements stated. This morning, I put it into sup testing and product manager comes and asks if we can rework it almost entirely.

That moment when you resolve a bug you have been working on all morning long!

Things that make you go hmm. Support reports a bug. An hour later the bug resolves itself..

It's Tuesday and backlog grooming... This feels unnatural. It is not any less boring on Tuesday then a Monday. 😳

I hate css. When I was in support, for some reason my task was to redo our support page (which I am no designer and never claimed to be, but whatever). I have been in engineering for quite a long time now. We HAVE a designer. Yet, the support site was never redone (and it should be) and any little bug that comes in for it is my issue. This css is going to be the death of me. Is the day over yet?

How do you know it's the right time to switch jobs? I don't hate my current job, but I don't love it anymore either. Considering starting to passively look for a new opportunity, but I don't want to make the wrong move.😕

My craziest deadline was working on a feature (bug), that was literally in the system for over two years. It was an entire rewrite of the feature. Okay, when should the due date be? Can it be done by Wednesday? 😣

When you finish a project as the exact requirements read and QA comes back with a "bug" that is REALLY a new feature 😑
